Fender’s Fish Farm is one of Ohio’s oldest fish farms and the operation supplies fingerlings to nearly all fisheries in the state, and well beyond. This barn quilt depicts an old family quilt that was made in the early 20th century.
The barn on which this square hangs was used during the post WWII period to host social gatherings and mixers for young people in the local community. This is an excellent example of how true barn quilts tell a story about the local community history. You simply cannot buy a barn quilt like this on Etsy.
